Arthur
Gerwin has been engaged in the practice of law since 1953, when he served as an officer in the US Air Force as a prosecuting/defense
trial judge advocate and Staff Judge Advocate of a Strategic Air Command base in North Africa. After his release from active
duty in 1956, while continuing to practice military law in the Air Force Reserve until his retirement from the US Air Force
as a Brigadier General, he began practicing commercial law in his civilian capacity in New York City.

Gerwin has served as outside general counsel to numerous family owned national corporations. His determined and
close client compliance oversight is a hallmark of his practice, and has helped clients avoid litigation in a wide range of
matters.

Gerwin has served in a variety of Court appointed roles, including: Referee to hear and report; referee to hear and determine; Mediator
in commercial litigation and court evaluator in Supreme Court; Guardian ad litem in commercial and Surrogate's
Court litigation; Article 81 Guardian for incapacitated persons; Referee in foreclosure; Referee in real estate, commercial
and Surrogate's Court litigation; and Receiver in real property and corporation foreclosures.

Gerwin’s professional activities have included service on the Board of Directors of the New York County Lawyers' Association
and Chair of its Committee on the Supreme Court and of its Membership Committee; Chair of the New York State Bar Association's
Committee on Courts and the Community. He is a Life Fellow of the New York State Bar Association.
